Meeting held in AC 219

Meeting called to order at 5:35pm and closed at 7:00 pm

Members in attendance: Tom Brandon, Joseph Craig, Stephen Kramer, Rob Siciliano, Calvin Green, Jay Lampkin, Michael Ziegler, Jessieca McNamara, Julia, Caleb Waggoner

Motion Summary for this meeting:

A motion to appoint Joseph Craig as President, Caleb Waggoner as Vice-President, Stephen Kramer as Treasurer, Jessieca McNamara as Secretary, and Michael Ziegler as PR Head was unanimously approved.

A motion to prioritize finding a web-master and get the club web-site up and running was unanimously approved.

A motion to hold a LAN party on a Friday night in October (not 10/19) was unanimously approved.

A motion to never hold club meetings on LAN party nights was unanimously approved.

A motion to name the club UB Gamers while adopting the Emu as a mascot was unanimously approved.

A motion to approach CSI to fund food for LAN party was unanimously approved.

Several activities were suggested for the club:

· Portfolio night where students’ games and mods are playable by invited folk from game companies and others

· Release a game for free but sell the source code

· Write to game companies to sponsor LAN parties

· Offer books and perhaps games as prizes for LAN party winners

· Hold a no obligation car-wash as a fund raiser

· Review games and publish in a small publication

· Use Game Room in Student Center for Console sessions

· Obtain fleet of whole-sale X-Box 360s
